    Logitech G27 - Xinput guide

    Here is a guide on how to setup XB! with G27 thru Xinput.

    New to the fold here, and I'm going to need some help with this seeing as this whole thing is new to me.

    Looking into the other thread it seems I need to have x360ce in the Gtuner folder, is that true? I have the CronusMAX-XInput in the same folder and I'm getting nothing, all the executable does is report there's an error in loading the gcdapi.dll.

    If 360ce see your wheel then it should wroks.


    @Baked_BBQ
    The guide is clear, you don't need Gtuner at all, just follow the guide.

    thanks! it can detect wheel , but get unable to locate component MSVCP110.dll, when i click ok, get failed to load 'xinput 1_3.dll' and controller 1 is lit red not green like in video???

    You probably need Microsoft Visual C redistribution package. See http://controllermax.com/forums/show...l=1#post970464

    You can find some files you may need at
    http://controllermax.com/forums/show...l=1#post970821

    gcdapi.dll is from the Gtuner directory, you can copy it from there

    is there an easy way to find button numbers for my gt2 as they are differant to g27?

    i have all buttons except L trigger, R trigger and the clutch pedal needs to be pressed to disengage clutch in game?

    It may be, but I assure you x360ce.exe wasn't in the folder (I had to acquire it myself), and the XInput window reports an error in loading the gcdapi.dll, which I can't even find in the Gtuner directory.

    Would this setup work with the X-Box 360? I still haven't jumped into the next gen pool yet. Mostly 'cause I'm so far behind in games it's not even funny.

    My wheel is detected and seems to work fine in the x360ce, but when running Xinput it just keeps saying 'waiting for controller'. I've got the directX runtime installed and visual c redist and gobs of other things. Any ideas?

    I've also got the wheel working on InhexSTER's Wheel tool seen here:

    http://controllermax.com/forums/showthread.php?t=142 so not sure why xinput won't detect it :/

    Anyone having problems with this, try the following:

    gcdapi.dll is contained within the DirectAPI Template, which can be downloaded here - find the file and place it in your Xinput directory.

    If xinput can't see your controller, ensure that x360ce.exe (and its files) are in the Xinput dircectory.

    Ensure that x360ce is not running.

    Job done and enjoy the newly added Nurburgring to Forza 5!!!!

    Hey, guys. I"ve gotten my G27 to work with Forza 5 using the CronusMax, x360ce and Xinput v0.3.1.0 but xinput always crashes in less than 10 minutes of play. I tried using the "stable" version of xinput v0.3.0.0 and that doesn't crash, but right trigger output (accelerator pedal) from x360ce isn't working at all. I also tried using v0.1.0.8 which works but seems to be missing some rumble effects. Is there any method to keep Xinput v0.3.1.0 from crashing a after only a few minutes? Thanks!
